For luxury car rear seats and Autonomous Vehicle people mover’s armrest has to control the passenger’s environment without adding bulk – that is the technology challenge.
Design HMI working to with technology innovators is working to design with minimum following feature adds:
- Size follow the ref. armrest CAD models: 214.5mm x 256.5mm x 142mm
- Nano Heating cup holder to keep liquid warm for 60+ minutes.
- Eliminate visible hinges – ambient lighting / lit monogram
- Ambient RGB controller for rear seats and arm rest.
- Nano heating in arm rest top
- Smart charger for USB 2.0 / C Class (65W+ for Lap Tops) with lighted USB plug.
- Charging without lifting arm rest with USB adaptor pins
- High quality metal lining in cup holder w/sliding lid
- Wireless charging with multiple transmitter coils.
- Independent rear seat microphone and speaker for private calls
- Touch Input Device for system interface
- Sliding telescopic Lid for cup holder.
- Lit Lincoln monogram on top of arm rest
- Armrest hinge with spring and damper easy open and soft refold into seat.
- Investigate: PCM Active Cooling & Fragrance Dispenser.
