The design solution must meet key wants for display as shown below – with or without an Android interface. A few of the key attributes that should be displayed are as below:
- High-resolution display.
- Waterproof for bad weather protection.
- Sunlight readable display – assume 1,500 nits.
- Power-Save.
- Screen with anti-reflective, Anti-Glare, Smudge Proof, coatings.
- Interface control module integrated into the display rear.
- Interface with data and power connectivity to the vehicle system architecture.
- A speed & distance meter.
- Bike health status and battery life indicator.
- Speed and distance history with route data and history.
- Elevation and altitude data.
- Pedaling rate (cadence).
- Trend chart of journey showing speed and cadence.
- GPS tracking and route planning.
- The ability to record and view all previous routes and rides to track progress. :
- Wireless operation display for snap-fit attachment.
- Wireless data connectivity – Wi-Fi or other.
- Interface with your smartphone.
