Vacust is a support with stabilized shape and memory achieved using a vacuum process and can change from being soft to being rigid, and they create a negative mold of what they are in contact with.
Through the use of small electric pumps capable of also producing a vacuum with a special foam coupled with different materials with closed or very open cells, we create new intelligent material where we can have the e control of the shapes, the energies of the foam, where the volumes can grow but also decrease, offering a performance not known until now that allows dozens of possible interesting applications.
The seat can become narrower, it can freeze the user’s shape, it can become softer or more rigid, and it can offer a new type of massage or an anti-fatigue, anti-decubitus, anti-cellulite, and lymphatic drainage system. All this can be managed by a user in manual mode, or completely automatically.
Foamvac is a solution that transforms a stupid foam into an intelligent foam, and it finds application in many areas of the vehicle interior, it can be on the driver’s seat but also on the rear seats, in the headrest, armrest, and even in the door panel. Foamvac is a smart surface that is able to move shapes and soften on demand.

You can consider stiffening a normal seat to make it wrap like a racing car seat. But we can also break the current comfort/performance limits in both directions: we can have a large, super soft seat as a standard setting, and then cross all the intermediate softness levels till the point where we get a super stiff seat.
Foamvac is represented by the use of foam inside the lumbar support bladder. The “D” shape that the foam is able to remember and maintain perfectly fills the lordosis cavity, offering a large contact surface and a softness that increases with increasing volume. A super advanced lumbar allows control of four independent volumes. It works as a normal lumbar, high support, low support, and massage system.

The golden rule of sciatica prevention is to avoid sitting for hours. Walking for 30 minutes a day increases blood flow to the nerve and reduces inflammation around it. With our system, we simulate a walk-by alternatively decompressing the buttocks.

The evolved Lumbar Foamvac system offers greater support with great volume and softness in the lordosis area. The lumbar in four sections allows a perfect adjustment of volumes according to the height of the occupant. An alternating volume increase function with an oblique orientation greatly helps to relax the back muscles, relieving fatigue in a very pleasant and gradual way.
VCM: Vacust control module board can manage up to 9 different channels, activate timed ignition sequences, monitor the external pressure and the negative pressure inside the FoamVac pads, record individual adjustments, and compensate for pressure changes due to altitude changes. It is able to communicate with any device, from the PC to the tablet with a dedicated app.
Starting from a standard seat, able to integrate the different functionalities of the FoamVac and Vacust technologies. The process involves defining the performance that the customer wants to achieve and our advice on the type of integration.
There is an intermediate phase of testing and trimming of the volumes and lift to be shared with the comfort team and ergonomics and then proceed to the choice of materials and seat upholstery. The pneumatic systems and related controls and activation procedures are another part of shared development for which we are able to offer the desired advice and functionality.
