LETI CEA Tech – Smart Lighting, LIFI & Other Technology Innovation Features
Leti CEA Tech works to create and transfer innovation to industry.
Leti CES Tech Smart Lighting has application in automatic dimming, projection, daylight sensor, presence sensor, beam control, color control. These are targeted for both cost reduction &/or functionality enhancement.
For Automotive the application is Glare Free Head Lamps and in future LED Chip with more than 1024 Pixels.
Another innovation is LIFI which uses a real baseband signal to achieve intensity modulation on LED current with direct detection at the receiver.
Goal is to use good properties of LED to be modulated at high frequency to transmit information at very high data rate and/or high ranges.
